Private Tour: Imbros Gorge
Starting from your pickup point in Chania we head towards the village of Imbros. Upon our arrival you can have some breakfast or coffee if you want before we start our hike in the gorge for the next 3-4 hours. At the end of the gorge we reach the village of Komitades. Then, we board the bus to Chora Sfakion for lunch and swimming.

After your pickup from your hotel or villa we visit the village of Imbros. Imbros Gorge is part of the European path E4 and in one of the most popular gorges in Crete. Its length is 11km and its descent is relatively easy. Along the way we see various caves and walls that rise up creating a unique landscape. The gorge was once the main path connecting Sfakia with Chania. You will see sculpted rocks with beautiful formations, rich flora and many troughs formed in the rocks, filled with water in winter.

We continue our route discovering the enchanting and picturesque Chora Sfakion that has two small ports with paths and boat trips to inaccessible beaches. Chora Sfakion is a small village with a few shops, taverns and cafes. Its is also the starting point to visit the amazing beaches of the area such as Iligas, Marmara, Loutro etc. Don’t miss to try the famous, traditional Sfakian pie with honey. It is a must-have before leaving the village.
