As soon as the cruise ship docks at the port of Souda, your guide will be waiting for you to start a beautiful tour. Our first destination is the Botanical Park for a visit and lots of photos. Next stop is the city of Chania, where we’re having a tour of the city center and the old port. Then we board and return to the port of Souda.

After picking you up from the port of Souda we head to the Botanical Park. The reason for the creation of the Botanical Park of Chania, in Fournes, was a fire that burned the area in 2003. A green area of 200 acres awaits you to get to know species of trees, herbs, ornamental plants in a colorful and lively landscape full of beautiful pictures and aromas. In the middle of the park stands a burnt century-old olive tree, as a memorial and reference point to the fire. Along the clear trail you will proceed on paths of natural beauty and observe species of wild flora and fauna in all stages of their life cycle.

Afterwards, we will visit the city of Chania. We will have the chance to tour the picturesque city, the main streets and the most magical part of the city, the old port. The port was built in the 14th century with intense Venetian elements and impressive architecture and it is undoubtedly a time travel full of historical interest. The imposing lighthouse, the narrow streets, the beautiful restaurants with Cretan delicacies, the busy cafes, the view towards the boats and the romantic aura make it an archaeological treasure.
