After picking you up from the port of Souda we head to Manousakis Winery, one of the most popular wineries in Chania and Crete. The winery is located in the area of Vatolakkos and started in 1993 after Thodoris Manousakis returned from America to get involved with the land and the wine making. Along with his scientific team, he cultivated varieties on the slopes around Vatolakkos and created labels with the Cretan imprint of nature. Taste some grape varieties such as, Syrah, Grenache, Vidiano, Assyrtiko, Romeico, Mourvedre and more. In the winery’s restaurant and the tasting terrace you can enjoy a traditional meal that pairs perfectly with the wine list.
